Rev. Rubinco Aceski was born on January 30, 1967 in village of Slivje, near Prilep. He went to elementary school in the village of Ropotovo, and graduated from religious high school in 1986. He then attended the University of St. Kliment Ohridski, a theology school, as a full time student from 1988 to 1992. He graduated in 1992 and that same year he married Lidija Mirceska, now Aceska.
On October 4, 1993 at the monastery "St. Arhangel Mihail" in Varosh, Rev. Rubinco Aceski was formally pronounced a priest by His Eminence Metropolitan of Prespan-Pelagonian Eparhy. After completing the priest training, he was appointed to serve the Ropotovo Parohy (Prilep). He remained the local priest of that Parohy until December 26, 2004.
In 2004, Rev. Rubinco Aceski was transfered to serve as a priest at our church "Sts. Kiril i Metodij" in Willowbrook, IL — part of the American-Canadian Diocese. And he has been with us continuously since then.
